Fallout 3 question????????

so im at the level where you have to go to galaxy radio. and i dont know how to get there. i went into the farragut station cause thats where my arrow was pointing to when i marked it for galaxy radio. but the door im trying to go through in the station is locked and at it shot at it and it just blew up. soooo how do i do it?
