Is the Womens Wimbledon tennis tournament becoming a joke?

The only person that most people know that is still in the tournament is Sharapova and even she hasn't won much lately. All the favourites are gone like Li Na, Williams sisters, Zvonareva, Jankovic, Wozniacki (No 1) etc. But now we are left with a Wimbledon semifinal consisting of Azarenka, Sharapova, Kovitova and Lisicki (?????). Since when have these people apart from Sharapova have won anything signicant in their lives or are even known? Ladies Wimbledon is becoming a complete and utter joke, As an avid Wibledon womens Tennis fan, I'm not even going to bother watching anymore matches.
